Below are some of the timber options we provide. Each timber type is unique and every piece will vary in it’s finished look depending on specific timber selection and finishing. If there is something you’re interested and do not see, please get in touch to discuss what we can do for you.

We will suggest a finish that will compliment the look you’re after, but for your information the following finishes are available: Wax, Lacquer, Matte Lacquer, Satin Lacquer, Oil, Tung Oil, Stain & Varnish.

Blackbutt

Blackbutt is a versatile Australian hardwood species with straight grained timber and even texture that ranges from a golden yellow to pale brown. Blackbutt has a durable and strong nature and is visually attractive, making this timber extremely appealing to complement a range interior designs.

Tasmanian Oak

Tasmanian oak is a versatile premium Australian hardwood timber derived from a collective of eucalypt species grown in mountains of Tasmania. Tasmanian Oak works extremely well in interior design and has an excellent finish. With its light colour ranging from straw to reddish brown with intermediate shades of cream to pink and its high staining qualities, Tasmanian Oak will readily match any other timbers or furnishings you may have.

Spotted Gum

Spotted Gum is a vibrant and striking premium Australian hardwood species with natural durability and strength making it extremely desirable for design by Architects and Designers across the world. Spotted Gum timber ranges in colour from white, light brown to dark red-brown hues and is derived from four native eucalypt species grown along the east coast of Australia. The timber has beautiful markings and grain features including, a wavy grain producing fiddle-back figure and back-sawn grain making it extremely aesthetically pleasing in interior design.

American Oak

American White Oak is the name used for a durable hardwood timber that belongs to a variety of USA species in the Genus Quercus. American White Oak is used for its unique strong patterns which include straight fine grain, medium coarse texture, and distinct growth rings. The timber ranges from white to dark brown in colour. This timber is desirable for high-grade furniture and takes on stain extremely well making it fit in to any design.

New Guinea Rosewood

New Guinea Rosewood is a popular and highly attractive coloured hardwood grown in South-East Asia, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Sabah, Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia. The timber is highly sought-after and ranges from golden-brown to red brown through to dark blood red with a medium texture and variable grain.

Timber Care

 

We recommend the following product care instructions:

  • Water on any products should be wiped dry immediately.

  • No chemical cleaning product(s) should be used on timber products.

  • A soft damp cloth should be used to clean down the timber.

  • Products should not be installed in direct sunlight.

  • Continuous moisture in the air may cause damage to the product appropriate room ventilation is recommended.

  • Do not leave any wet items on timber products.
